With this stretch, the TransVerdon takes the direction of the Verdon gorges... Here, the route uses the ancient Roman road that once connected Castellane to Moustiers-Sainte-Marie by the mountain. You will see the beautiful village of Rougon, opposite Point Sublime.

Rather than take the route of the gorges, you will rise above the hamlet of Chasteuil and the wild Suech plateau. On the descent on Rougon, look up, you may see the Vultures of Verdon and the Grand Canyon below!
